Drum Trolley means one man can move 250kg easily

STS Safety Trolley Systems’ DTC01 Universal Drum Trolley offers an innovative design allowing any operator to move drums easily and safely.

Sack truck trolleys use 40 year old technology and do not meet the safety demands of modern industry because they require high operator input loads to move a drum - hence the STS new trolley.

Drums now come in different sizes and are made of a variety of materials. The STS DTC01 Drum Trolley can handle them all. The trolley uses an ingenious pivoting system to pick up the drum. The operator only has to exert a 20kg force to pick up a 250kg drum. The trolley is manufactured in stainless steel and is completely maintenance free.

STS also supply the trolley as an Ex version for working in a Zone 1 area. The firm recently won the HazardEx Small Company of the Year Award in recognition of the development of their products for Hazardous Areas.
