Galebreaker's flexi partitioning is the nuts September 22nd 2008 Dormen Foods started business in 1992 as a specialist roaster and packer of nuts and snacks. They supply their products through a variety of markets and are now established as the premium brand in the snack market.
As a BRC certified company, Dormen’s factory and production facilities must adhere to the rigorous standards specified by the British Retail Consortium. With this in mind, Dormen Foods approached Galebreaker Industrial when they needed some internal partitioning within their factory facilities.
Production Manager Richard Sly was looking to segregate packaging and production areas and stop cross contamination of products, to create a dust free environment to work in, whilst maintaining access through roller doors and PVC strip doors. “The Galebreaker product offered everything that we were looking for in one flexible, cost effective package”, says Richard.
The “Flexipart” product is made from a translucent material that gives 60% light transmission with built in fire retardant properties. It is also made up of easy to handle panels which are linked together using the Galebreaker V-Joint system to provide a dust free environment. Roller doors and PVC strip doors completed the installation.
The whole Flexipart system was installed in 5 days and allowed Dormen Foods to maintain production during the installation period. “The installation had a minimal impact on production, meaning we could continue to fulfil our orders”.
Galebreaker’s Flexipart is a strong reinforced partitioning system. Made to measure, each system can be installed in all working environments by our experienced installers.
