Stannah gives Co-Op a lift February 23rd 2009 As part of a recent refurbishment, a Stannah 2 stop, 750kg Goodsmaster is currently shifting heavy and awkward items between ground and first floor levels at a busy High Street branch of The Co-operative in Balfron, near Glasgow.
The economical and reliable lift does not require an external structural wall but operates within its own structure-supported frame, making installation simple with the minimum of builder’s work.
Requiring minimal headroom and pit depth, it is easy to position, saves space by not requiring a separate motor room, and is powered by an energy-efficient electric traction drive. Finished in tough baked enamel with heavy duty vinyl covered floor and collapsible gate at the car entrance for maximum safety, the lift is designed to deliver heavy duty, reliable and long-lasting performance within demanding environments.
“"We pride ourselves on our customer service," says Store Manager, Peter Stevens. "The Goodsmaster helps cut the man hours spent on moving heavy and awkward goods between floors, leaving our staff better protected and free to concentrate on what they do best - keeping customers satisfied.":
Available in 500kg – 1500kg capacities, the Goodsmaster can be installed and working within a fortnight, subject to builder’s work, and helps supermarkets such as The Co-operative meet the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act.
