Easypack wins Queens Award

Easypack has won the Queens Award for Enterprise International trade for a second time.

The firm started trading in 1992 as a specialist UK manufacturer of cushion packaging systems which provide voidfill and product protection for goods in transit. All systems produce packaging that is 100% recycled and biodegradable. Easypack recognised the export opportunities for its products early on and confidently entered the major Western European Markets, of which France and Germany account for 90% of all exports sales. This success has been achieved by setting up part owned Easypack companies in the main European markets. Overseas sales increased by 132% since 2002. By 2007, over 60% of total production was sold overseas.

The firm plans to launch complimentary products this year.
