Toyota maintains leading position as forklift supplier September 17th 2010 Toyota has maintained top spot among global fork lift truck manufacturers, according to a report from US magazine Modern Materials Handling.
The report says the Japanese giant’s revenue for 2009 was US$4.6 billion, with Kion Group (which includes Linde and Still) second with $4.1bn. Third was Jungheinrich with $2.3bn.
Crown ($1.6bn) rose to fourth from fifth in 2008, swapping places with Nacco ($1.5bn).
Other upward movers included Komatsu (7th, 8th in 2008), Anhui (8th, 9th in 2008) and Doosan (12th, 15th in 2008).
Further down the list Combilift rose one place from 19th in 2008 to 18th in 2009, with revenues of $98m.
