Caljan Rite-Hite acquires AMH Services March 3rd 2011 Caljan Rite-Hite has acquired AMH Services in a bid to "create a truly 24/7 UK wide company, combining the loading and dock products products of Caljan Rite-Hite with the value-adding philosophy and focus of AMH Services".
Spencer Roberts (previously md of AMH), will head up the new company, that will retain the name Caljan Rite-Hite, and said: “As a combined force we are in a stronger position to support our customers with Design, Installation, Project Management and Service, utilising the Caljan Rite-Hite product range, enabling them to achieve consistency, improve health & safety and productivity while reducing costs."
For Caljan Rite-Hite, the acquisition means a significant step in the overall growth strategy that identified the need for a service infrastructure providing coverage in all regions of the UK, with a 24/7, 2-hour response time.
Operations director, Mark Baugh, added: “Finding a national service provider within our industry that had all of the technical skills to cover our broad product range was a tough ask.
