MezzLift available in range of configurations
October 20th 2011

The Penny Hydraulics MezzLift is available in a range of configurations to handle loads of all shapes and sizes up to 500kg safely and efficiently between multiple floors.

Its compact and self contained design make it ideal in a wide variety of locations such as warehouses, stores and shops and allows the entire handling process to be undertaken by one person without manual lifting. The MezzLift helps operators to be more productive, lessen damage to goods and property, reduce the risk of injury to employees and comply with manual handling regulations.

Each MezzLift is designed and manufactured in the UK to the specific customer’s unique requirement. Typical configurations include lifting heights up to and exceeding 4.0m and platforms to suit the items being handled or to work within the existing building layout. Penny Hydraulics offers delivery within a maximum of four weeks of an order being placed.

The MezzLift is supplied with its own pump unit and there is no need for a separate motor room because the power pack is uniquely self-contained within the shaft. This helps ensure a compact design that minimises the MezzLift’s footprint without restricting the available storage space and working area. The structure is self-supporting so there is no need for building work during installation and the 50mm closed height means there is no need to excavate a floor pit. Robust construction ensures the lift can be installed indoors or out. It is powered by a standard 240V 20A power supply. Models with higher ratings or powered by three-phase supply are available.

Hydraulic power provides smooth and precise operation at 0.5m/s lifting speed. A unique hold-to-run system promotes safety and stops the lift whenever the control is released. Additional standard safety features include overload protection and interlocked gates which prevent unauthorised access.

Penny Hydraulics offers a complete installation service for the MezzLift and supports its products with flexible maintenance contracts and regular statutory inspections managed by its own nationwide team of service engineers.
