 Automatic pallet smooth strapping system

An improved
version of
Cyklop's ES600a
automatic pallet
strapping
system is
available from
Cyklop UK in
Cambridgeshire.
The new 700
series was
launched at the
Easyfairs
Packtech
Exhibition in
March. On show was the
720E, incorporating an
integrated friction weld
strapping tool which
operates from the same
battery pack as the strap
dispenser. The tool is
supported during the
strapping process ensuring
that it cannot be dropped
and damaged.
The patented Chain Lance
allows quick, smooth strap
application, with reduced
operator effort as all lance
controls are via a joystick. A
full battery allows 400-1000
straps to be applied and a
low charge indicator is fitted
as standard. The 700 series
is suitable for automatic
application of polypropylene
or polyester strap, requiring
one operator in a standing
position with no need to
bend down to pass the strap
through the pallet void,
