system from Mettler
Toledo Cargoscan
ensures large pallets are
quickly and accurately
measured at DHL's
International Gateway in
London Colney.
"Measuring large pallets
is often very difficult
using conventional
technology, so their
dimensions often have to
be manually measured
and recorded," explains
DHL's international
gateway manager Angus
MacDougall.
The solution from
Mettler Toledo Cargoscan
was the CSN840 Pallet, a
complete data capture
system that automatically
collects dimensions,
weight and identification
information from a pallet
in under five seconds.
The standard unit can
handle around 200
