Available from PHS Treadsmart are matting products designed to reduce the number of workplace slips.

Spilt liquids are one of the main causes of slips and the company has a range of free-draining mats that provide a high level of slip resistance by allowing spills and debris to drain away from the mat surface.

In smaller areas, for example around vending machines or sinks, PHS absorbent mats will absorb any minor spill, helping to keep the floor dry and reduce the risk of slips.

Loose cabling across walkways is also a trip hazard. PHS Treadsmart offers a range of mats that allow cables to be safely laid beneath them, removing the trip hazard from the surface of the walkway. These mats are well suited to the industrial environment as they are resistant to most common solvents, oils, and so on, and withstand weights to 4200kg/ft2.

The company’s antifatigue mats help reduce fatigue and give insulation from cold, hard floors. They also create a cushioned surface to minimise injury should a fall occur.
