Fast and efficient unloading
October 1st 2007 Univeyor has created the
Empticon, developed for fast,
efficient and ergonomic
emptying of freight
containers. This eliminates
manual unloading, the
Empticon is controlled by a
lightweight wireless control
desk. The machine can
handle cartons weighing up
to 40kg, and after a short
training programme, the
operator will be able to
unload more than 600
cartons per hour. A short

awarded the Danish Design
Centre's Design Prize 2007.
Five Danish companies
with large distributions
centres, participated in the
development project, each
having significant influence
on the final specifications of
the machine.
