Bulky boxes banished April 1st 2004 A new generation of servo driven label applicators is available from Herma.
The company say it has redefined the limits of both servo drive and label applicator technology by integrating the control module for the 400W heavy duty servo motor inside the housing of the unit, avoiding the need for bulky control boxes without increasing its footprint.
Herma 400 can be easily and cost effectively integrated into existing production lines, as well as form and fill bagging machines or bespoke label application systems.
Label placement accuracy, with a maximum tolerance of 0.3mm, is achieved by synchronisation of dispensing and production speeds. Precision is maintained at speeds to 160m or 2000 labels a minute.
It comes in four maximum label web widths: 80, 160, 240 and 320mm. |
