Bernard Matthews Foods and Grahams UK have successfully completed a project to replace 18 label applicators with newly designed Graham Top & Bottom labelling machines.

Once designed the applicators were built and installed in just 12 weeks – with no disruption to production.

The considerable task involved utilising a small amount of the existing machinery for the new Triple Headed applicators. The specification comprises two top applicators and a bottom applicator on a split conveyor. The packs are labelled at the rate of 120 at 40m/min. Interactive Coding Equipment’s ‘Zodiac’ Solid State Thermal Printers are fitted to both Top Heads.
