Sensor speeds detection rates
April 1st 2004

A new label detection sensor from Leuze Mayser provides ultra-precise triggering of labelling machines, ensuring accurate and reliable application of labels. The GS 06 optical fork sensors 8000Hz switching frequency enables it to cope with higher production speeds for packaging lines. To maximise plant efficiency the sensor uses Leuzes new A2LS technology, enabling its receiver to differentiate between transmitted light and some other light source, thereby avoiding incorrect labelling. The simple push-button teach-in facility will suit most applications, but for more complex tasks that require greater precision, the GS 06 has a multi-turn potentiometer.
