AC power program to increase productivity
April 1st 2004

Said to be one of its largest product development strategies ever, Yale has embarked on an AC power program designed around one vision to drive the customers productivity. The latest product of this drive is the three-wheel ATF, available in 1.6 and 2.0t capacities. Compact and manoeuvrable, the truck can turn full circle in its own wheel base and is suited to work in the tight confines of a warehouse. Twin steer wheels offer added stability. Said to be a versatile machine that can handle large loads, it can work comfortably inside and out. The controlled power provided by the Yale AC motor means inclines can be handled with ease, giving a feeling of control on up and downward travel. The AC technology also facilitates smooth forward and reverse direction change for seamless driving action. One particularly notable feature of the new truck is YaleStop an instantaneous braking system that ensures there is no delay or roll back when the operators foot leaves the accelerator pedal. This technology also facilitates precise forward and reverse manoeuvring in tight confines and reduces the risk of damage to loads, the surrounding environments and the truck itself. Four preset performance settings mean the truck can be configured to suit application or the individual driver via PIN access.
