Refurbishment completed

The industrial equipment division of Ring-Gard has completed major refurbishment of loading bays at the IKEA distribution centre in Thrapston, Northamptonshire. The contract covered the supply and installation of 32 new electro-hydraulic dock levellers a combination of pit-mounted and suspended frame levellers, including six special 4.5m long platforms. All feature a 7.5t single axle load capacity and 500mm long double reinforced tapered swing lips. The levellers were built to match the existing pit dimensions, eliminating the need for costly and time-consuming civil works. Safe-to-load green pilot lights were also provided.
