Corby Chilled Distribution uses a complete range of loading bay equipment from Easilift Loading Systems at its recently opened distribution centre in Nottinghamshire. The 15,000ft2 chilled warehousing facility operates on a 24/7 basis. Easilift Powerdoor electrically operated, fully insulated, sectional overhead doors each measuring 2.5m wide by 3.0m wide are incorporated in each of the depots 10 loading bays. Designed to cater for the largest of vehicles, they each contain two double glazed vision panels. Each bay is also fitted with an Easilift 403 collapsible frame dock shelter to completely seal the vehicles during loading and unloading. The tough construction material ensures maximum resistance to wear. Poweramp 232 dock levellers have been supplied in a tough, galvanised finish for extended life. Each bay has individual control panels to operate the doors and a set of traffic lights.
