Dedicated network for Ireland April 1st 2004 Fast growing player in the overnight
distribution of small consignments of palletised freight, Palletways, has created a new dedicated network for the whole of Ireland.
The network will be run by Montgomery Distribution, a member of the Palletways operation in the UK. Part of the Ballyvesey Group, which was formed in 1966, Montgomery Distribution has a 1500-strong vehicle fleet and employs some 1700 people across Ireland and mainland UK.
Palletways Ireland, which will be based on the UK model, will be centred on two hubs in Portadown and Roscrea, serving Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland respectively. The network will also provide next day, 48 hour and 72 hour delivery services to England, Wales and Scotland, including the Scottish islands. More articles from Palletways UK Ltd: |
