Celebrating a true partnership
October 1st 2006

Since its launch, seven years ago, Matthew Kibble Transport has nearly doubled in size. Last year the company took over Preston's Fuel and Haulage and as a result became involved with Fortec Pallet Distribution Network.

Over the past 12 months, Matthew Kibble has been busy; it has taken over part of the Lancaster postcode in addition to other responsibilities in Lancashire, including looking after an area for Fortec that includes Blackburn, Preston and Blackpool.

On working with Fortec, Matthew says: "They are a very participative network involving licensees in network development and they prioritise customer service. This reflects my own approach... it is a true partnership... they recognise that we want to move forward and they are helping us to do that.

"Lancashire is an area of huge opportunity for a transport operator and we are ideally placed to take advantage of this opportunity. Our business has increased by over 30% in the last 6 months and we are looking to maintain this growth. Being part of an established national network has helped because it provides the opportunity to give customers UK wide next day and timed service options."
