Meachers Group has
won new business with
three American
companies. Goodpack,
owners and operators of
Intermediate Bulk
Containers, Butterworth,
portable tank cleaning
machines and Biofisica, a
high tech wound care
company, are all using
Meachers full range of
value-added supply chain
services. This includes
importation through
Meachers freight
forwarding arm, Oast
Agencies, storage in the
company's 160,000ft2 of
warehousing and onward
movement throughout
the UK using Meachers
extensive fleet of trucks.
Meachers has also
begun onward
movements for US
customers throughout
Europe and is also
focusing on onward
movements to other
countries in the world.
This involves the
management of air and
deep-sea exports and all
associated documentation
including the preparation
of letters of credit bank
collections. From its
facilities in Southampton
and Derby, the Meachers
Group operates a full
range of services
including road haulage,
warehousing and freight
forwarding. Add-on
services include
devanning, palletising and
storing as well as picking,
labelling and distributing
goods to customers
