quality gifts and flowers.
Oast Agencies, the freight
forwarding arm of transport
and logistics company,
Meachers Group, has agreed
a contract with Virginia
Hayward to manage its
supply chain, from
manufacturing plants in
China through to delivery in
the UK. The contract with
Oast Agencies will be a cost
effective and efficient
solution as previously, Dorset
based Virginia Hayward,
allowed its suppliers or
buying agents to control
freight purchasing and
freighting.
The new contract will
provide Virginia Hayward
with an end-to-end service.
This will include liaising with
the company's buying agents
in Hong Kong, monitoring
purchase orders, tracking
shipment progress and
organising UK Customs
clearance. Meachers
Transport will also undertake
