Palletways launches into France February 1st 2007 Palletways has launched a new distribution network in France. It is the first pallet freight network provider to offer a delivery service to locations across the whole of France and it means that the company now serves a vast area of mainland Europe from the North in Denmark to the South in Spain. Significantly this development will also enable Palletways' 100+ UK members to offer their local customers an express delivery service, including full trace and trace, to the whole of France. Currently the UK members can deliver to the region covered by Palletways Central European network, which covers the Benelux countries, Denmark, Germany, Northern France and Switzerland. Palletways has introduced a new hub in Troyes, France, to complement its existing European hub in Nijmegen in the Netherlands in order to meet the demand for delivery services within France, from the UK, as well as between France and the countries served by Palletways Central European Network. Goods from the UK will be trunked from Palletways' Lichfield hub on a two-line haul direct to either Nijmegen or Troyes according to their final destination. Freight being delivered within the countries covered by the Palletways Central European Network will be distributed via the company's Nijmegen hub, whilst goods destined for delivery points in the area covered by the French network, will be moved through the Troyes facility.
