Varlink has announced the addition of the new DT-X11 series of rugged industrial hand held terminals, recently released by Casio. The new terminal is said to be ideal for transportation and logistics, retail and service management applications.

.Key features of the product include:

A wide variety of communication options including; built-in Bluetooth and IrDA, optional WLAN and expansion via PCMCIA card slot (GPRS)

The latest Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 operating system

Lightweight, ergonomic design

Up to 1.2 metre drop impact resistance and IP64 dust and water-splash protection.

A rugged plastic touch panel, ideal for demanding applications.
