online system that allows
clients to keep an eye on
their products'
movements in real time –
from origin through to
point of delivery.
Each customer can
access the HOST system
around the clock at
importservices.co.uk,
following a secure path
with access codes. Supply
chain information is
refreshed every 10
minutes.
"We changed the site
to provide an interactive
portal five times faster
thant the previous
facility," says Mike
Thomas, client services
director at Import
Services. "We manage
client's supply chains
from factory – usually in
the far East – all the way
to final recipient in the
UK. So far HOST has
processed and tracked
