New headset options and battery analyser

Voice-directed distribution systems specialist, Vocollect, has announced the introduction of a number of advanced components for its Talkman T2 wearable, voice-directed distribution system for industrial and warehouse environments. Among the new accessories on offer is a behind-the-head headset, the T2 Battery Analyser for determining the charge life for a battery within a given environment and an enhanced wireless listening kit optimised for the European market. Available in left ear and right ear models, the behind-the-head headset features an ergonomically designed earpiece and flexible boom microphone that can be positioned near to the mouth and holds its position during physical activity. The behind-the-head form factor is ideal for industrial or warehouse environments where hardhats or other head-gear are mandatory. The T2 Battery Analyser comprises a five bay unit that provides users with the ability to estimate the battery life cycle for their Talkman T2 wearable computers and to gain quantitative information on batteries that are not fully charging. A new global wireless listening kit for use with the Talkman system has a 50m range and operates in the UHF frequency band, therefore is especially suitable for use in Europe.
