Pick Pack fills gap
February 1st 2007 SCA Packaging's Industrial Division has developed a range of "Pick Pack" bulk containers suitable for storage, picking, packing, and distribution of product in the industrial and retail sectors. Strong and light, the units enable containing and shipping a variety of goods including bulky or awkward shaped items preventing spillage or damage, whilst facilitating stacking in transit or the warehouse. Manufactured from Heavy Duty fibreboard, they are low cost, highly adaptable and can be designed to customers' requirements. "Whilst most designs are supplied as part of a longer term system, because our containers can be designed and produced very quickly they can also be used as a temporary solution to 'bridge the gap' between shortages of returnable stillages and containers during periods of peak demand," says SCA's market manager, Martyn Reader.
