Picking the freshest food

tote picking system DPS (Dynamic
Picking System), is now being
established in the fresh food and
temperature-controlled sector.
Since its first installation more
than ten years ago, the DPS
solution has been used for picking
small volume articles within the
normal temperature area in
different food and non-food
industries. Now its technology will
be implementing the high
demands of the fresh food sector,
including cooled environments,
short order lead times and short
expiration dates on goods.
The DPS system provides
different storage totes with
articles in static flow channels or
in dynamic flow channels. Topselling
articles are permanently
available with slow movers on
demand. DPS automatically
adjusts changes in classification
such as seasonal or promotional
items and integrates the
replenishment warehouse into the
picking process to present storage
totes directly at the pick
workstation.

integrated based on article range
