Because major European transport and logistics service provider, ABX BELGIUM Distribution faces this challenge each day, the company has, for a third time awarded a fiveyear, full service contract – valued at around €1.5m – to FKI Logistex. FKI Logistex regional customer support & service manager, Rainer Busch, explains: "The scope of the support covers two-shift supervision, a direct 24-hour support hotline and rapid spares back up, it will be handled by our FKI Logistex operation in Ede in the Netherlands. The Ede operation provides Pre-sales, Contract Execution and Post Handover services and support for the growing FKI Logistex customer base in the Benelux countries." ABX has been operating its Logistex S 2000TT Tilt- Tray Sortation System successfully since 1994. This unit is one of a number of reliable, low maintenance models, which have helped position FKI Logistex as a global leader in the design, build, and installation of automated, high-speed sortation solutions as illustrated by an installed customer base numbering thousands worldwide.
