Fashion warehouse gets makeover June 1st 2007 A joint effort by HiLo-PSS
Group and AGF UK has
enabled TNT Fashion Group
to continue operations after a
fire in November 2005
destroyed its warehouse in
Lutterworth, Leicestershire.
Supported by Planned
Storage Systems (PSS), a
division of HiLo-PSS Group,
AGF first racked a temporary
facility for TNT Fashion Group
and has now completed the
fitting out of the company's
new storage facility. Now
completed, the new site
comprises two buildings
connected via a link tunnel.
The larger of the two
structures is
37,000m2
connected to an
extension of
21,000m2. To
make maximum
use of the two
areas, AGF has
manufactured
and fitted threetier
mezzanines
in both areas
providing
9,800m2 in the
larger area and 5,430m2 in
the smaller. PSS has supplied
a total of 5,000 frames,
47,000 pairs of beams and
94,000 shelves for the site.
Two installation teams started
work on the 12th May, with
TNT Fashion Group
operational 14 weeks later. More articles from HiLo-PSS Group: |
