Saves 10 mins per delivery April 1st 2004 Magline, provider of Magliner route distribution solutions, has introduced a new six-wheel Bulk Delivery Truck that, through third-party research, is reported to have been shown to save approximately 10 minutes per delivery stop, when compared to a traditional two-wheel hand truck.
With a 454kg capacity, the Magliner Bulk Delivery Truck can handle bigger payloads and make faster deliveries. It can hold 40-45 cases of canned beverages or up to 20 cases of bottled beverages. Its square extruded handles are geometrically designed for greater strength so they will not bend during shrink-wrapping or delivery.
When the truck has been pre-loaded at the distribution centre or warehouse, the delivery driver need make only one-fifth the number of trips to unload product. This system reduces product double handling, and improves driver ergonomics by eliminating overhead bay lifting, bay climbing and lift-and-bend postures.
Built to the same high quality standards as other Magliner-brand products, the truck platform is 46cm wide x 144cm long and made of heavy-gauge aluminium decking, capable of withstanding years of continued heavy-duty use.
Six specially mounted 20cm free-wheeling wheels, with locking option, help cushion loads and allow the castered truck ends to pivot freely on uneven or irregular surfaces for enhanced manoeuvrability and a tight turning radius. More articles from Magline Inc: |
