Friction weld hand tools get smart October 1st 2006 Complete end-of-line packaging solutions specialists, M.J.Maillis has introduced a new option in friction weld hand tools.
The Digi-Smart, featuring digital control touch pad, ergonomic design and a weight of just 3.8kg including battery, has been designed to minimise the occurrence of hand and arm-type injuries resulting from prolonged or repetitive use – and will also simplify the strapping process.
Suitable for use with both polypropylene and polyester strapping, Digit-Smart models feature simple, reliable digital adjustment of strap tension and seal time, and are suitable for strap widths of 10mm - 16mm (0.5mm to 1.0mm thick).
Maximum tension is 2000N.
Well-balanced and selfsupporting to allow comfortable single-handed operation, the Digi-Smart tool is suitable for use on all flat-pack type applications.
