Aldi saves £300/month per truckJune 1st 2007
Aldi is installing GSPK's Dual Fuel System to its lorries after a detailed trial showed a fuel cost saving of £300 per month for every vehicle.
The trial compared three converted Scania P-series 380s with three identical vehicles over a three month period. The vehicles continued to cover normal routes with normal loads, and the average cost per mile was compared with the average from three identical unconverted vehicles.
"Our customers expect fantastic value and this helps us deliver it," says Aldi's Nick Ridley.
