Aldi saves £300/month per truck
June 1st 2007 Aldi is installing GSPK's Dual
Fuel System to its lorries
after a detailed trial showed
a fuel cost saving of £300
per month for every vehicle.
The trial compared three
converted Scania P-series
380s with three identical
vehicles over a three month
period. The vehicles
continued to cover normal
routes with normal loads,
and the average cost per
mile was compared with the
average from three identical
unconverted vehicles.
