One ring to bind them all

Orion Packaging says its new high speed A800 Automatic ring wrapper can compete with anything on the market.

Its robust construction and 120 pallets per hour capacity, says Orion, should prove especially useful for food and drinks manufacturers and distributors.

According to the company the A800 can be easily incorporated into new and existing conveyor systems to deliver efficient performance. With the loaded pallet in place, the wrapping ring of the A800 comes down over the pallet to enable the delivery system to rotate around and wrap the load. The ‘ring’ rises and falls until the wrapping cycle is complete, after which the ring rises to allow the pallet to move off along the conveyor.

Orion Director, Ann Williams, says the A800 is particularly versatile. “It can be programmed for a wide range of requirements – from light and fragile right up to large awkwardly shaped or heavy-duty items.” As well as supplying automatic, semi-automatic and portable palletwrapping equipment, Orion also provides case sealers, strappers, spiral wrappers, dock-levelling equipment and a wide range of wrapping consumables.
