Versatile flatbed trolley for varied loads
December 1st 2003 Specialist retail equipment and trolley manufacturer, Wanzl, has launched the versatile new MUC 500 flatbed trolley suitable for moving heavy, varied loads in garden and leisure retail environments.
The MUC 500 features a 100 litre flip-up top load basket and a sturdy steel frame flatbed rated for loads up to 500kg.
The latest addition to Wanzls proven MUC range also features the companys patented fifth wheel technology which provides ease of handling that is said to be unrivalled by conventional four castor flatbed trolleys.
The upper load basket can easily accommodate a variety of smaller goods such as pot plants and paint tins, or can be flipped up to make room for taller loads such as potted trees and shrubs. Heavier, bulkier loads such as compost and bags of cement can be carried on the lower flatbed, which is sprung for easy nesting when not in service. The MUC 500 also offers more lower load length and width than its predecessors, with a generous flatbed measuring 1200 x 500mm.
Fitted with Wanzls sprung fifth wheel, fully laden trolleys remain manageable in busy aisles and on sloping car parks and minimise the risk of collision.
The centrally mounted fifth wheel has been shown to reduce steering effort by as much as 80%, reducing fatigue, enhancing safety and minimising trolley damage to expensive in-store fittings. More articles from Wanzl UK: |
