A short film about a lift
April 1st 2008 As an alternative to the
usual brochure which gives
information about Cargo
storage systems, the
company has created a DVD
containing a short film.
The Cargo Lift system
features are demonstrated
by an animated section that
details how the lift unit
automatically measures the
height of products on each
shelf in order to maximise
storage space. It also
illustrates working speed
and shelf retrieval.
Fingerprint recognition is
illustrated too. Part of the
Cargo biometrics facility, it
can be programmed to deny
access to unauthorised
personnel without the need
for passwords or codes. For
high value item storage or
sensitive data, the system
can even restrict access to
specific shelves within the
lift system. It is also able to
provide operator history
