has installed a 6m high
Cargo-Lift at valve
manufacturer, LB Bentley,
boosting storage space for
raw materials, and finished
goods. The Cargo-Lift unit
has provided the company
with 100m2 of storage
capacity, on a footprint of just
10.5m2.
The Cargo-Lift is a
computer controlled vertical
lift, storage and retrieval
system, suited to storing and
retrieving items with different
dimensions. The lift
transports selected items to
and from the operator,
improving productivity,
increasing picking speeds and
reducing costs. Product
image display on a touch
screen monitor improves
picking speed and reduces
errors, and trays can hold up
to 750kg of stock, able move
vertically up to 2.3m/second.
Lifts are available in heights
of 4 to 20m, and shelf widths
