Swiss roll up door contracts February 1st 2007 Biddle has won two contracts in Switzerland for its latest air curtain barrier for coldstore loading areas. The new Invisidor MAT (Multi Airstream Technology) was launched only last month in the UK but in Switzerland, where the product has been available for more than a year, it has captured a number of contracts. The latest include one for a major Zurich-based bakery and another for an international logistics company specialising in the storage and delivery of frozen foods across Europe. Romer's Hausbäckerei bakery products are distributed to 8000 hotels, caterers and retailers from its two-storey deep freeze facility. The company specified seven Biddle MAT units, for internal and external entrances to ensure the highest levels of energy efficiency coupled with the advantages of improved health and safety as the air curtains overcome the need for physical barriers as well as preventing icing and misting on floors and walls. The second contract came from Galliker transport, which operates temperature controlled distribution services across Switzerland, Belgium, Italy and Sweden. Galliker recently invested in a major extension at its coldstore facility and required separation of internal and external environments. More articles from HiLo-PSS Group: |
