Tiny temp data loggers bring home the bacon
April 1st 2009

TinyTag temperature data loggers are helping A1 Bacon meet stringent food processing regulations.

According to Gemini Data Loggers, the Tinytag Wireless Data Logging System was specified because of its simplicity of set up and operation, and its cost-effectiveness.

A total of 20 Tinytag selfconfiguring, wireless radio data loggers were placed in the specific points around premises and delivery trucks. Data is then automatically sent from each logger to a central receiver connected to a PC on the network, eliminating manual downloads and enabling one or all data loggers to be analysed at any time via networked computer or the internet.

For trucks that have left the yard, data is stored and retrieved when they return.

Should any problems occur overnight, for example, the system will alert a nominated person by SMS or email.
