Consultants help develop warehouse

Following rapid expansion, Boden Mail Order required a centrally located facility to provide storage, picking and packing and future growth.

The new warehouse, carefully chosen for size and required development, is located at the M1/M69 junction with access to the road networks and routing to airports.

Peter Lemon, logistics development manager was responsible for the development, together with the Nicholson Consultancy Group.

Nicholsons worked with Boden to establish the initial design and specifications – producing tender documents for all disciplines, detailed analysis of returned tenders and recommendations of suppliers.

They were also responsible for sourcing second user equipment, offering considerable savings.
