October 1st 2004 Designed for frozen or chilled foods, pharmaceuticals or temperature sensitive products, the PolarRolla from Aerotrim-Polar weighs just 12kg without cover, compared with 42kg for a standard cage-less cover.
Manufactured from a powder coated aluminium frame with a rugged, high insulation base and Polartherm cover, the PolarRolla offers savings in transportation costs and reduces manual handling. The cover is fitted with Velcro and has a zippered, easy-access flap.
Tests have shown the Polartherm cover material has the best insulation properties in its class with a thermal conductive value (C-value) of 1.19W/m2K. The temperature profile of the rollcage will keep Frozen or chilled foods virtually constant over at least 6 hours. The unit is easily cleaned and complies with food carrier regulations.
