Timber pallet pool serviced

Rexam is one of Europe’s main consumer glass packaging manufacturers.

Returnable packaging management provider, Demes, has taken over a pallet depot in the Netherlands to service the timber pallet pool of Rexam Glass Dongen.

The depot will handle over 9000 pallets each week, providing sorting, checking and repair. The ready-touse pallets will then be supplied to Rexam’s production unit in line with production forecasts.

Demes will also maintain the SAP system of Rexam Glass Dongen to ensure that control of the pallet pool is maintained within the Rexam supply chain.
