The lion's share of warehouse provision August 1st 2009 Meachers Group has a
struck a long term deal with
Lionvest Trading, one of the
UK's largest stockholders of
solid and engineered wood
flooring, to accommodate
1,000+ pallets of flooring
stock at its new
warehousing facility in
Majestic Road, Nursling.
Meachers is providing
Lionvest with a mix of valueadded
supply chain services,
which will include collecting
their containers from the
Port of Southampton,
devanning, storage and then
onward transportation to
the company's UK customer
base.
Lionvest's decision to
move its warehousing to
Meachers was based on
Meachers ability to offer a
state-of-the-art facility and
easy access to the
motorway network.

excellent customer service",

Lionvest Trading (pictured

ensure that Lionvest's stock
can now be moved with a
minimum of delay to
anywhere within the UK
within 48 hours from order."
Meachers warehouse
system allows customers
easy access to current stock
levels and movement
figures over the Internet to
provide them with accurate,
timely and complete
visibility of information
across the supply chain.
The system uses radio and
barcode scanning
technology to scan goods in
and out of its warehouses
and provides flexible
communication facilities to
interface with a variety of
