Flexible solution
February 1st 2007 Quinn Radiators in Newport, Gwent, is the latest site to have installed SSI Schaefer equipment, and joins the long list of Quinn manufacturing sites throughout the UK that use SSI products. In SSI Schaefer, Quinn recognised expertise and high standards of quality, reliability and finish, and as a result, chose the company to install the latest technology in pallet racking, shelving, mesh partitioning and secure caging at the Newport branch. Schaefer equipped a new stores area with PR600 Pallet Racking – a system that enables a variety of versatile configurations – and Regal 3000 modular shelving with adjustable, bolt-free slot in shelves, ensuring a flexible and economic storage solution. Mesh partitioning and a workbench was also installed. Overseeing the installation was Aaron Thornton of SSI Schaefer. He said: "The new stores area was designed with great thought and consideration to allow for full capacity storage. We used adjustable pallet racking with timber decking to give full flexibility, the secure cage area was bespoke using standard equipment to give the customer an ideal solution."
