Major racking discounts
April 1st 2009 Recognising customers are
seeking value now more
than ever, Bito has
introduced an incentive
discount of up to 25 per
cent on UK orders over
£2,500.
The firm achieved 20 per
cent growth in the UK last
year, and hopes to continue
its record of doubling
turnover every four years by
adding value to customers
still forging ahead despite
tough market conditions.
In the broader context,
growth is also being driven
by overseas investment: The
firm launched an Indian
joint venture – Nikamal-Bito
Storage Systems (NBSS) – in
2006 to produce Bito's Pro
racking for the Indian
market. A new office
subsidiary in Dubai will open
up further important
territory.
In the UK a number of
product launches are
planned for 2009. The
company has also published
an updated and expanded
new product catalogue and
project guide which it says
will help customers through
initial choices. Its new
Nuneaton test facility, says
Bito's Edward Hutchinson,
will then help deliver the
