Mobile reprise
January 1st 2012 Twenty years ago Parfetts, a cash and
carry with a busy 105,000 sq ft
warehouse installed Storax mobile
racking systems.
When they decided to refit they
opted to stay with Storax and installed
eight replacement mobile racks, each
with a capacity of 128 pallets per rack.
The mobile racking section of the
warehouse accounts for about 10% of
the space.
Parfetts operations manager,Dave
Thompson says: "The four week
installation was completed on time
and with minimum disruption. This
was especially important as the pre
Christmas period is a particularly busy
time for Parfetts when we take in
much higher levels of stock.
"The new mobile racking has stateof-
the-art Cascade Controls which
