Pre-assembled modular wheel system
December 1st 2006 Duraflow is a new preassembled modular wheel system from Flowstore which has been designed to simply and quickly convert most pallet rack structures into dynamic, versatile carton flow storage. Strong multi-wheel roller track sections are supplied in standard widths of 305 or 405mm with universal beam hooks enabling easy positioning on to existing pallet rack cross beams. It only takes a few minutes to fit a whole shelf level, saving up to 90% of the usual installation time for live storage systems. The densely packed, complete bed of wheels provides high levels of flexibility as changing carton sizes can be accommodated without the need for track and guide reconfiguration. DuraFlow allows 90% space utilisation and efficient storage on a first-in first-out principle. Available for retro-fitting to pallet racks, DuraFlow can also be supplied into most freestanding support rack systems to suit the application, and depths from 500mm up to 6m or more are available.
