New antibacterial shelving system

Bedford and Soar’s Quartermaster shelving system is washable, steam cleanable and now antibacterial.

Using a new process an effective antibacterial agent is encapsulated in a tough nylon coat. This process ensures that the antibacterial agent, which activates in moist conditions, is not drawn to the surface coating to leech away. In hygienic environments requiring regular cleaning the new technology ensures that the antibacterial action has a full and long life.

The active agent is effective on a wide range of bacteria and yeasts including the ‘recognised enemies’, with surface killing rates of 99% in 3 hours. A stainless steel version of Quartermaster is also available.
