A CopriSystems canopy has increased space and improved operational safety at Honeywell's automotive manufacturing site in Cheadle.

Honeywell produces turbochargers for cars and truck manufacturers.

Working on a small site, operational space was an issue, so Honeywell contacted CopriSystems to install a monopitch side wall mounted canopy onto the side of its warehouse. The canopy provides a dry loading/unloading area and temporary store. Previously goods were unloaded and loaded outside but wet weather was causing problems.

"With the canopy in place there are fewer quality issues and we are now operating in a safer way," says Honeywell Supply Chain manager, Nicolas Thomas. "CopriSystems had the best combination of solutions and price."
