Sales saved June 1st 2010 When the Penrith branch of
Morrisons supermarket chain was
devastated by fire it seemed as though
the store would be inaccessible for the
foreseeable future.
However, the store's managers –
determined to find a solution to help
local customers reliant on the store –
called on Spaciotempo, one of the
UK's most prominent suppliers of
temporary building solutions, to
propose a time frame to install an
emergency supermarket on site in a
safe spot on the supermarket's car
park.
Just 8 days later a 10,000 sq m
combined temporary store and
warehouse was up and running and
ready for business. From request to
installation in just over a week, a full
turnkey package was specified to
include heating, specialist flooring
and fully glazed windows to create
an appealing environment. More articles from Spaciotempo UK Ltd: |
