Bag a new packaging idea
December 1st 2007

Johnsen & Jorgensen has launched a new bag-in-abox packaging concept for the UK speciality and fine chemicals sector.

The SmartPack system comprises of a Cheertainer plastic double layer bag, a UN-approved alternative to traditional rigid plastic and metal containers.

SmartPacks can be stored flat when not in use, allowing savings to be made in warehouse and shipping costs. The inner bag is stand alone and squares-up when filled, without relying on external packaging to stay in shape. Its external corrugated outer makes it easy to palletise and provides scope for all types of printing. SmartPack is available in five sizes, (5,10, 15,20 and 25 litre).
